The Treatment In More Detail
We've designed an expert treatment protocol which is the best in the industry to ensure you have an even, flawless tan.

What's included
- We offer three different spray tans: Our Classic Spray Tan, Vita Liberata Spray Tan and an Express Spray Tan.
- Your Salonette will bring all the equipment they need for a spray tan; including a tent, disposable underwear and barrier cream.

Before the treatment: Exfoliation
The better condition your skin is is, the longer your tan will last. If you're not already, we recommend exfoliating your skin every few days to remove any dead skin cells.

Before the treatment: Hair removal
If you have unwanted hair, make sure you shave or wax at least 24 hours before your spray tan. If you wait until after, you risk the colour being removed.

Before the treatment: Remove makeup and don't moisturize
Do not moisturise on the day of your booking. The lotion will act as a barrier between your skin and the tanning colour. This goes the same for any makeup left on.

Tanning attire
Your Salonette will start by setting up the tanning tent in your chosen space. They will then ask you to undress - your Salonette will provide you with a disposable thong, or you can wear your own underwear if you prefer. After, your Salonette will provide you with stickers to protect the soles of your feet and apply barrier cream to any dry areas - these are usually your knees, elbows, hands and feet.

The tanning process
You will be asked to enter the tent and your Salonette will proceed to work through each body part with the Spray Tan tool. They will walk you through it, explaining when to move around so that they can achieve an even tan.

After the treatment
Once your Salonette has achieved an even tan, they will ask you to stay put for a few minutes before putting your clothes back on - this is to ensure that the tan has thoroughly dried. We recommend wearing dark, loose clothing afterwards to avoid the tan rubbing off. Leave the tan on for 6-8 hours and then thoroughly wash it off in the shower.

Your Salonette will bring all the necessary equipment needed to perform your spray tan. This will include a tent, barrier cream, tanning spray, disposable underwear and feet stickers.

We recommend having the Salonette set up in a room that is private and warm. They will need a 2 meter square open space to put up the tent.

No, the spray tan will take place in a tent to avoid any of the product coming off on your furniture.

Your tan will develop over the next 6-8 hours. After that, you can showered whenever. If you shower too early, the tan won't be fully developed. If you booked an express tan, you will only need to wait 3 hours before showering.
