The Treatment In More Detail
We've designed a treatment protocol which is the best in the industry to allow you to have the best pedicure that last the longest making sure that you're ready for anything that comes your way.
-
What's included
- Soaking your feet in a pedicure bowl.
- Trimming, filing and shaping your toenails.
- Buffing your toenails.
- Treatment of cuticles.
- Exfoliation of your feet using a foot scrub and foot file.
- Painting of your toenails.
-
Sterilising
Your Salonette will sterilise your feet and their hands as well as laying out protective material to keep your furniture safe. After, they will begin by sterilising their tools.
-
Clipping, shaping & buffing
Your Salonette will ask you what shape nails you prefer and proceed to clip and file them accordingly. They will then gently buff the top and side of your toenails.
-
Cuticle treatment
They will apply a small amount of cuticle remover on each toenail and let it soak in for a few minutes before removing it thoroughly. She will then gently push back your cuticles to reveal the nail plate.
-
Foot lotion
To get rid of any dead skin, your Salonette will use a disposable foot file and scrub to exfoliate any rough areas. She will then massage in a bit of foot lotion.
-
Base coat
Once you're happy with the look of your toenails, your Salonette will apply a thin layer of the base coat.
-
Polish
Your Salonette will apply two thin coats of your colour of choice. If you're having Gel or Shellac, the polish will be cured with a UV lamp.
-
Top coat
Your Salonette will apply a thin layer of the top coat to keep your pedicure looking fresh and glossy.
-
Finishing touches
Once everything is dried, your Salonette will apply and rub in some cuticle oil to keep your toenails nourished and hydrated.
Frequently asked questions
-
Before your Salonette leaves, she will ask you if you would like to rebook. It takes no longer than 20 seconds, all you have to do is confirm another date & time and your Salonette will be able to send you a confirmation request.
-
We recommend the Salonette sets up on a table with two chairs, ideally close to a power socket if you're having Gel or Shellac.
-
You don't have to do anything before your treatment. If you've already got Gel or Shellac nails on and they need removing, either book in a removal for the time of your treatment or get this professionally removed before.
-
If you've booked a regular pedicure, your nails should last at least 24 hours. With Gel or Shellac, they can last up to 2 weeks.
